The first center of obscured gravity is the most elemental and the most invisible. It's not hiding. It's published in every UN demographic report, tracked by every census bureau, cited in every macroeconomic overview. It's hiding in the way that the air is hiding — so pervasive, so foundational, so far beyond the resolution of the human perceptual apparatus that it's experienced not as a force but as the medium through which all other forces operate.
The signal is in the substrate. Eight billion people, alive on Earth at this moment, generating demand for everything at a scale that has no precedent and operating through an infrastructure that couples every disruption to every other disruption at the speed of light. The dimmings — the systemic crowding, the resource strain, the fragility, the sense that the world doesn't quite add up — are visible to everyone.
The planet that produces them has now been named.
