A near-total saturation of the cognitive environment with disinformation, manufactured urgency, and narrative that’s been engineered not to inform but to capture attention through fear. The architecture of that system is sophisticated, extremely well-funded, and moving at a velocity that no individual human being operating with purely analog tools can match. The platforms, the algorithms, the content factories — they’re all optimized for the same thing: maximum engagement, achieved most efficiently through maximum anxiety.
